The Teugse 2 Day event is a competition with two or three classes. A club class, combi class and “kreupel” class, that means something like “lame” (free for everything that may fly and is technically a glider class).

This year only the club and combi class were held otherwise I would join the “kreupel” class. I decided to join the club class and gave it a try.

The task for the first day:

It was very nice to see a lot of different people and planes on the airfield.

The weather was totally grey and a thermal was hardly found, hence day one was cancelled.

Because everybody was lined up you could make a start and hope for a miracle. Of course everybody started ! 🙂

The day was a success nonetheless for me. My first competition and placed first like everybody else ;). This sport is totally dependent on the weather so better stay positive, right? Unfortunately I could not attend the second competition day.
